Lodging Information

There are three recommended hotels for LA-Web 2003 so far:

• Hotel Diego de Velázquez
• Hotel Conde Ansurez
• Hotel Parlamento

Lodging information will be updated continuosly, trying to bring relevant data to the attendees to the conference.

Hotel Diego de Velázquez

This hotel is located in the Comuna de Providencia, on the eastern side of town. The Providencia neighborhood is one of the most beautiful zones of Santiago. It is filled with shopping and dining options, all in a relaxed and secure setting. There is a Metro station and bus stops close to the Hotel Diego de Velázquez.

Hotel Diego de Velázquez' address is Guardia Vieja #150, Providencia; a few steps from the Los Leones Metro Station (Line 1). It's behind the Mall Panorámico.

The rates are:

• Single $32.250 pesos plus Tax (or USD50)
• Double $36.550 pesos plus Tax (or USD55)
• Junior Suite $43.000 pesos plus Tax (or USD100)
• Additional bed $14.000 pesos plus Tax (or USD20)

Important: When making reservations ask for the Convenio Universidad de Chile rate. Mention the LA-Web 2003 Congress, too.

Non-Chilean nationals do not have to pay taxes if they pay in US Dollars. Rate includes American Buffet breakfast, and transfer Airport/Hotel/Airport (Monday-Saturday, 6:30 - 22:30hrs).

The Hotel Conde Ansurez is located in downtown Santiago, in the Barrio Universitario (a neighborhood fiiled with higher education institutions), very close to the main street in Santiago, the Alameda. It has the República Metro Station a few steps from the hotel, as well..

It has 44 comfortable rooms with private bathroom, cable tv, direct phone, safety box, air conditioning (optional) and parking. It is located at República 25, Santiago.

Rates are:

• Single: 23,000 chilean pesos (or USD 35)
• Double: 28,500 chilean pesos (or USD 45)
• Triple: 34,000 chilean pesos (or USD 55)

Rates include a Continental Breakfast. Transfer Airport/Hotel/Airport costs USD 5

Hotel Parlamento

Hotel Parlamento is located in front of the Parque Forestal, in downtown Santiago, close to the Bellas Artes Metro Station. It has 68 rooms. The hotel has been recently restored. All rooms have cable TV, air conditioning and telephone. The hotel also has a restaurant and conference rooms.

• Triple: US$ 45
• Quadruple: US$ 40

• Master Suite: US$ 100

Non-Chilean nationals do not have to pay taxes. Rates include Continental Breakfast.

Guest are suggested to pay cash, since credit card payment has a 10% surcharge.
